When I first joined Braun & Brian AG in 2008 as an associate, I was immediately struck by the exceptional quality of lawyering and the firm’s well-earned reputation for confidently and effectively working across the table from larger law firms. However, those were not the most important realizations nor were they the most impressive.

No, what won my heart was the firm’s culture. Not only did everyone know and enjoy working with each other, but the entire team – from partners to business professionals – played a valuable role in serving clients. While much has changed since 2008, the firm’s collaborative nature and client-first approach have not. Our core values directly inform every aspect of our business, including our interactions with colleagues, clients, and the communities where we have a presence. We are enterprising, respectful, inclusive, insightful, and tenacious. My role as a tax attorney has given me the opportunity to work closely with our litigators, restructuring professionals, and corporate colleagues alike. I can confidently say the collegial nature of Braun & Brian AG resonates across practice groups and geographies, and, if anything, has only grown stronger during the pandemic.

Today, we are strategically focused on serving clients in key practice areas and industries – or what we call our business pillars: global litigation, crisis management (restructuring, investigations, and special situations), life sciences, technology, and brand and reputation management. These are the areas where we excel and make the biggest impact for our clients. Our lawyers serve clients around the globe. We work on high-profile, high-value, cross-border matters while providing the kind of personal attention to clients that is typically found at boutiques. We are also committed to building a diverse workforce and serving the public interest through our charitable foundation and pro bono work.
